Named for Verdi's legendary aria from La traviata, Adelaide Trombetta's debut album was created with celebrated conductor and pianist David Stewart Wiley. It features the vocal dramatics of “Glitter and be Gay,” the mountainous echoes in “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen,” the enchanting melodies of Villa-Lobos, and more.

A graduate of Yale’s prestigious Opera Program, soprano Adelaide Trombetta made her debut on the Metropolitan Opera stage at age 21, under the direction of Marco Armiliato, as a National Finalist in the renowned Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Since then, she has rapidly gained recognition as a world-class singer and a compelling stage performer, enjoying leading concert and stage engagements throughout the United States and Europe.
